NOTICE of PSYPACT® PROPOSED RULEMAKING:
The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) Commission has published Proposed Rules for consideration and public comment. The Proposed Rules can be found HERE.
The proposed REVISIONS TO RULE 10 apply to PSYPACT Participating Member Jurisdictions only and are being considered to:
- Add a mechanism for the formula used to assess the Annual Assessment fees being charged to the states to be reviewed and modified by the PSYPACT Commission as needed.
- Ensure the maximum Annual Assessment fee is set at no greater than $6,000 per jurisdiction
These Proposed Rules are open for a 60-day public comment period for stakeholders interested in providing comments. Written comments may be submitted to the PSYPACT Commission via the PSYPACT website (https://psypact.gov/page/PublicComment). The deadline for submission of written comment(s) is no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on February 20, 2026.
The proposed rules will be considered for final approval at the PSYPACT Commission’s Midyear Meeting via Zoom, on July 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Interested parties are invited to participate. Notification of the meeting time and location will be posted on the PSYPACT website (https://psypact.gov/page/Meetings) at least 30 days prior to the meeting.
