Alabama’s Heroes Welcome website is a one-stop resource for military spouses and families moving to and across Alabama and it is the only location housing contact information for all Alabama licensure boards, as well as related legislative updates. This site is public and available for anyone seeking centralized information about professional licensure in Alabama.
As part of Alabama’s Military Family Jobs Opportunity Act, the Board has the ability to grant temporary certification and licensure to military spouses transferring to the State of Alabama. The Act also allows for waiver of initial licensing fees. These efforts make professional portability so much easier!
